I had one for a while, I liked it. But we were a little too early to the party on them and it was a bitch to find the syrups/cartridges. They weren’t in normal stores yet. I had to drive to bed bath and beyond, oddly enough a camping/trailer/rv center nearby, or order online. It became too big of an inconvenience.
I think it would be much more worth it now.

I used my sister’s sodastream in August, and it was awesome. I hear you can get half-off CO2 bottles if you take in your old one.

I found one at the Goodwill outlet center and picked it up for $0.79/lb. I had to buy some bottles, but those set me back a whopping $2.00. I have picked up a spare CO2 cartridge, also at $0.79/lb. I've tried some of the syrups but tend to prefer just carbonated water. I have mixed up a few drinks using syrups meant for other things (sour cherry, coconut), but I enjoy the water with a splash of lemon over every other combo I've tried.
